Meet Our Expert Team
Dr. Bigelow is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, and Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine. She has been caring for patients at Saint Francis Medical Center since 1999 and previously served as Medical Director of the Hyperbaric Department. A certified diver with a passion for healing, Dr. Bigelow brings decades of expertise and compassionate care to every patient.
Dr. Nicole Cates is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon specializing in complex conditions and diabetic limb salvage. She completed advanced training at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University and emphasizes personalized, non-surgical care whenever possible.
Dr. Friedenthal is a board-certified plastic surgeon with training from Stanford, Yale, UCSF, and Stanford Medical Center. He has held leadership roles at UCSF and California Pacific Medical Center, and became certified in hyperbaric medicine in 2017.
Dr. Young is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Professor of Surgery at UCSF, with advanced training from Yale, Columbia, and UCSF. He specializes in wound healing and reconstruction after burns or trauma, and is trained in hyperbaric medicine and advanced wound care. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
